Rabbi Harari
On July 15, 2013 Rabbi Carmit Harari officially began her tenure to serve our community as spiritual leader of B’nai Yehuda Beth Sholom and Congregation Am Echad. Our new rabbi was born in Haifa, Israel and spent her childhood in Skokie and Racine, Wisconsin. She went to OSRUI as a camper and later served as a counselor and resident director. She was ordained at the Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati in 2008. For the past five years, she has served as Rabbi of Temple Beth Ora in Edmonton, Alberta.
