Dr. Jane Shapiro
We often think of Shabbat as a celebration that occurs from Friday to Saturday and stands apart. Dr. Shapiro will investigate some sources on how Shabbat can be practiced all week long as a way to bring more nourishment and refuge into our lives at any time. She will also discuss some ways to deepen our actual Shabbat experiences in a personal way and look at sources in the Torah and Hasidic literature as a window into these questions. The program is free and open to the public. A partner with the Jewish United Fund in serving our community.
